Tonic - Lemon Parade Revisited

This record will always occupy a special place in my heart. End of high school, transition to college. I had a 3
hour drive home and would just blare this. Fast forward much further along in life and the dudes revisit the record acoustically. The production on it is simply sublime. I adore how they filled the spaces left without drums with shaker, keys and backing harmonies. Does anyone else love it?

I actually have this on vinyl. I think it’s super rare.

I ordered the CD at the time. Was selling off vinyl and moving on from the format at the time. Ugh!

This was a fav of mine. Listened 100s of times when it came out. Saw them in concert back then 2x. Enjoyed their second album too, Sugar. Hadn’t listened to the album in 20 years until last year. Still enjoyed it and the acoustic. Guys got such an earnest voice
