It might be a thousand years on a distant planet

some 30 years ago at least

plus everyday since

Some days remind me of the first day

there’s so much about the man

Not to be unromantic because it does feel Romantic but 

He could be an enchanted box of kitchen matches

Keep them dry and protected, and you have reliable fire

It’s incredibly lucky!

I know the value.

So much of the world has changed but

we all still need fire to live

Love hits a soul asleep

So much like the Sun on our eyes in the morning
