Was hoping to find another ITW vinyl, but they were gone. :(

Did pick up a "Body of War" vinyl and two 2000 PJ official boots: Barcelona and Manchester.

It's always nice finding the old boots in stores for less than $10 a pop. :)

In 2000, when Pearl Jam released all the bootlegs and people were buying them and trading them back in to Amoeba for other stuff... the Pearl Jam section was gigantic and there was a big handwritten sign over the Pearl Jam Live section that said, "Pearl Jam Official Bootlegs. Collect them all.... PLEASE!!!"
    ...
I love Amoeba... and Fingerprints in Long Beach... and Bionic in Cypress.

Yep, I love that place. I went to college in Claremont so I used to spend at least 5 or 6 hours a week there.

I've picked up a ton of PJ treasures there, from the Last Kiss #d vinyl to a Temple of the Dog Vinyl (for $9) to a bunch of official boots...

  • Amoeba in Hollywood is usually picked clean of everything I want.

  • I've recently seen a sealed Vitology and a ten basketball vinyl there. I'm not sure if it's still there, but last week, there was a used Vitology vinyl for 25.

Yeah, it's still there. I picked it up and thought about buying it but $25 seemed a bit pricey for used and not mint. Didn't see the basketball vinyl though.

That's what I was thinking. Basketball vinyl was a few weeks ago and that was on the wall up front.

Amoeba can be mighty intimidating if you are not a patient shopper. I usually go right to the 7" vinyl section and look thru the 80s stuff as well as the new releases. 45's are such a great medium!

i envy you for being able to spend so many hours in a record store; reminds me of High Fidelity and Empire Records

I think it was 175. Pearl Jam vinyl is really rare there.
