Any Pinball players/collectors in here?

Been an avid player for years.  Purchased my 1st pinball machine last week and it should be arriving next week.  Anyone else on here play or own pinball machines?

I love playing.  One day I'd love to own the Adams Family or Batman ones.  Those were by far my favorites to play.

We had the F-14 Tomcat for about 10 years growing up. Was pretty fun. I think prices have gone way up on pinballs.

Adams Family is a great one.  One of the most popular games of all-time for sure. I love the 80's & 90s era of machines.

I have a Twilight Zone machine....bought it about 15 years ago for $1600 or so

There are a few listed on ebay for $6500 to $14K so not sure what it's worth

The challenge around here is getting someone to come out to work on it. I paid like $400 last time for a repair. There are fewer and fewer people fixing these things and they want you to bring it to them which is a gigantic task.

After reading what you wrote I was curious and it ended up being the most successful pinball machine of all time.  I can see why, I loved that game.  So much fun playing!

What did you end up buying?

Ya, getting repairs done made me hesitant at first about buying one.  Luckily I live close to a couple guys that work on them.  I've also been looking at Youtube videos and there's a lot of good stuff on there.  Anything electrical though is definitely out of my league.  Twilight Zone is a fun one to have.  Lots of cool features on it.

I bought a few of the mods for it...like you said, I don't want to mess with electrical so I have a few that I'll leave for the repair guy the next time.

I was amazed at the add ons for this machine...really cool stickers that I can't figure out why they weren't there to begin with

There's a little robot that you can mount and a spaceship that are kind of cool.

I remember when i was a kid (late 70's/early 80's) we had a pinball machine in our basement. It wasn't digital scoring, had the old school numbers that "flipped". It was also a western cowboy pinball machine. Always tilted.

If I were to get a new ione I always liked the South park pinball machine. Thought that one looked cool.

I'm pretty sure there's a place where you can play a whole different bunch of pinball machines like a few miles from me. I should check it out.

Same. We had a Williams Joe Palooka machine. That thing was a tank and it rarely tilted.  I loved when multi-ball machines like Sorcerer and Pin Bot came out.  Have not played for many years unfortunately. I miss pinball!

Wow, very nice. I did find a pic of ours. You can kinda make out what it looks like. Don’t have a scanner so I took a pic of the pic 😛

Mine arrived last week.  Naturally I had to relocate my Greenville poster and hang it next to it.  My wife and I want to eventually own 3 or 4.  Sorry about the glare.

Went to the National toy museum of play in Rochester, NY this weekend ( visited family). They had one section dedicated for pinball machines (old and new) and you could play them. Pretty cool
