On January 31, 1998, before the album was released, the band did a
national pirate radio broadcast that they offered up to any radio
station that wanted to carry it called Monkeywrench Radio. It
featured Eddie and Stone DJing between in-studio performances by the
band and a few others. Eddie took phone calls from Gloria Steinem, Corin
Tucker of Sleater-Kinney, and others.
Such vibes listening to this and remembering listening to this on FM in my college dorm. The anticipation of waiting for just the right second to flip the cassette tape recording this. Maxell 90s forever!
