    the fastest-selling album in America….ever 
    Yeah me too! Would someone please assist me? I thought I remembered hearing that Vs. beat out Michael Jackson’s previous record correct? And before that it was the Beatles, right? 
    Not sure who they beat out but I do believe they had the top 2 spots (Vs. and Vitalogy) for highest sales in a week until 2000 when 3 albums all surpassed it. (*NSYNC, Backstret Boys and Brittney)

    The Garth Brooks live album in 1998 was the first to break the Vs. mark for one week album sales.

    Good call. For some reason I remember a. Boy band. Garth rocked in 1997, saw him at the Rosemont in Chicago on a 6 show run
