Game rules:
- Replace just one (1) of the artists on the latest list with one of your choice
- Rearrange the list as you see fit and post it. Number one being the best out of the five
- You are not allowed to replace the artist which the poster immediately above you just introduced. Nor re-introduce the artist that poster just removed.
- Replace the one you feel fit the least on the list (as in the weakest link)

Starting field:

1. James Hetfield
2. Fred Durst
3. PJ Harvey
4. Axl Rose
5. Chris Robinson

    1. Axl Rose
    2. James Hetfield
    3. Layne Staley
    4. PJ Harvey
    5. Chris Robinson

(As seen, I introduced Layne Staley and rearranged the list to my liking. Layne Staley is safe from being replaced by the first poster after me)

This list is almost perfect.  Get rid of Staley for someone and I'd love this one for sure.

More character in his voice than boring Bruce Dickinson*

Freddie Murcary also have such a boring voice. Give me the grunge dudes any day of the week. Or Trent.

    * Not counting the version of Bring your Daughter, to the Slaughter on the soundtrack to A Nightmare on Elm Street part 5: The Dream Child

When it gets to the point where there are some singers I like, I'll hop on here.

Ah what the hay, why not.
    Nicks, good pick!
Also, OP said "Nor re-introduce the artist that poster just removed," but it appears they can be re-introduced later, right?  Or no?
In any case, I hope PW doesn't get knocked off the list too soon!

    1. Paul Westerberg (replaces Rob Halford)
    2. Stevie Nicks
    3. Freddie Mercury
    4. Lenny Kravitz
