Any issues with TicketSwap?

I purchased 2 seating tickets for the original Amsterdam 2 show back in 2019 from Ticketmaster.nl. and I then got 2 GA tickets so sold the seats via TicketSwap.
In September, over 2 months after the rescheduled show, I got a message from the buyer saying the tickets I sold him were rejected and he wants his money back. Turns out he sold on the tickets I sold him so looks like he has invalidated the originals but why it took so long to inform me I don't know.
Does anyone have a similar experience? I've contacted Ticketmaster and they say he's at fault so I am refusing to give him anything back.
