    Yes there is something different with this tours recordings to previous ones. I have Budapest Krakow & Amsterdam & they sound like you are in the room again

    Very happy to hear someone new is mixing! I definitely notice the improvement.

    I don't think it is someone new mixing.  Josh Evans did the re-master on Vault 10 Moline.

    I think the sound difference has more to do with equipment and process than people at this point.  
    His eminence has yet to show.

    Yeah would have been surprised if they had switched from John and Brett, they did for a short time in the late aughts and those are not the best boots.

    I really think these pop based on the equipment and technology advancements.

    I'm picking up some Mccready tones I haven't noticed in previous years' boots. Is this a mixing change or did Mike change his kit up?

    Mike McCready is rocking Fender Tone Master combos.


    "Most notably, tube connoisseur Mike McCready has a pair of fresh Fender guitar amps stacked behind him, both of which bear a telltale Tone Master badge in the bottom right-hand corner, confirming them as combos from the Big F’s foray into digital versions of its classic amps.

    The series’ Deluxe Reverb and Blonde Twin Reverb feature in McCready’s rig alongside a Lead Custom from Seattle amp builder Rola, which runs into a Marshall 4x12. Presumably, the Fenders handle clean tones, while the Rola gets switched in for dirtier sounds.

    McCready’s live endorsement is one of the biggest seals of approval for the digital amp series yet.     Nope. I hope SiriusXM / Nugs officially releases this on CD & digital download.

    NYC sounds like you are there.  Love hearing boots like this wear the crowd is similar to what you remember.

    I agree that these boots sound amazing. It seems like you can here the crowd a bit more, which is great. At 2:45 of YLB on the Nashville boot, you can hear the crowd cheer. I'm pretty sure that was that kid having his first drink, as Ed vowed earlier in the show he would make happen.
