Inner sleeves damaging vinyl?

Is this a thing? Or has it ever been. Have you heard of inner sleeves damaging the vinyl? Scratching it etc?

    PVC sleeves do. Outer or inners

    Paper sleeves can create micro scratches on records when you slide them in/out. Poly inners are the best.
