Okay, I know Pearl Jam fans get a little out of hand sometimes with the amount they'll pay for a poster, but this is crazy...

    the starting price was just 45 bucks. somebody payed $4,543.00 for this print, that's just nuts! hasn't even been a year since of the release.

    when you have the money, you have the power. you can buy anything. no price!

    imagine he's the president, and how much the value of the poster will be in 4 year's? or imagine if he doesn't become president. how much will the poster go down in value after the elections?
  • Maybe the $4,000 was for charity? Or maybe it was a donation to the campaign? That seems to be really high. :eek:

  • holy fuckballs.
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    I'm more amazed by the $11,000 tag on one of the sales.

    Granted, it came with a few other pieces, but still...who has $11,000 to blow on a poster?!

    Sad to report that I tried to buy it when it went on sale and they wouldn't sell to me as a Canadian.

    Are you talking bout the Progress print from ObeyGiant or the Change print from Obama's website?

  • That poster inspired an explosion of design on behalf of Obama:

    Design for Obama

    And also: You are tired. You are true of heart!

  • that's some mighty expensive toilet paper.
  • I think those posters are kinda cultish.

    Most people buy posters because they remind them of a certain event or becasue they like the art. To me, this poster neither of those.

    And I feel like no matter what happens in the election, the value of this poster will drop. Even if he wins, he won't be getting as much exposure as he is right now.
