Poster Drop on 10c

The Camaros HoodThe Camaros Hood Boston, MA Posts: 464
As one of many, I’m trying to obtain a Louisville poster. What are the chances they drop some here once the tour is done? I know they have in the past and it seems there are a few on the site from earlier in the tour. Just wondering if I should hold out or pay these stupid eBay prices. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They usually drop here but they go fast if it is a popular one.

That’s my fear. I can only stare at this website so much during the day. Wild there are still like 4 shows from earlier this year available. My guess is Louisville will go fast.

I'm hoping they drop here as well.  Going to try and get the Nashville one as I wasn't able to get there as soon as I had originally planned.

It’s starting to feel that way, but honestly I’m kind of surprised. I know there was a shitload of people there, but my first reaction when I saw the poster was “that one’s going to be easy enough to get.”

they were dropping them to coincide with the bootleg releases for awhile....not sure if every drop followed that same pattern though

  • My guess is the drops will start next week. One more show to go and then all the merch has to return to 10C HQ.

So they take prints out on tour, purposely don't sell them, then haul them back to 10C HQ to sell on the website? That seems weird to me. Are we sure this is the practice? Why?

Yeah posters don’t be coming back to the head quarters. They keep some back for online sales.

If you do go the ebay route, things may cool in the months ahead as the initial frenzy wears off

Definitely considering that. Just worried most will get snatched up and what’s left will cost even more. Seems like there aren’t many out there. Heard maybe as little as 200 were sold on site. Praying 10c held a bunch back.

Yeah, EV posters were totally sold through the 10C. I bought the EV LA poster at the same time as the PJ LA poster. They didn't last long, but they were sold here.

That could also be a biproduct of what the posters look like. There haven't been many extremely sought after posters on the first two legs of the tour...not surprising that a ton of those are still in the shop.

There will always be some up for sale on eBay a couple months from now that will be more reasonably priced. Patience will definitely save you some money if you miss the 10C sale.

as i watched the merch truck unload in Nashville, i counted 15 poster boxes. each box holds 300 posters, that's 4500 available per show. im not sure how many boxes 10c holds for online sales, 2 - 5??

True, the price on the Canadian posters have already started to drop a bit. There are listings for SE versions of them for less than $75.

And how much were they? That is a ton of posters and quickly ends any discussion about the band making money off the posters.
