Did anyone else hear a little bit of Outshined from Mike?
It was man in the Box.
    Correct

I think it was "It Ain't Like That", referring back to my recording of it I am doing

I heard two separate riffs.  First, the opening notes of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."  Then, a few seconds later, the riff from "Barracuda."
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

They did both of those for sure I think going by memory, then Mike did like 3 seconds of "It Ain't Like That" (up to the 3rd fret low E string bend) right before Ed laughed out loud

A thing that just happened cannot be described as "seminal," Rob.

Radio broadcast mixes are always very different from the in-person experience

I'm on record about Fricke, too, but I might have a bit of a sensitivity to seminal because Gary Cohen, the Mets broadcaster, constantly misuses it.

By the way, this is two words that have come up in this thread that owe their etymology to fluids: unctuous (oil) and seminal (well, you know).

Radio mix isn't going to sound anything like how things sound in the house. As for the vibe, to me they sound like a band that had to stop a set after five songs, wait for 30 minutes in a hot room full of people, half of whom are industry folks/VIPs and contest winners, and then try to re-start with a few tuning issues and what sounds to me like maybe monitor issues too, at the very least. Can't imagine it went the way anyone hoped/expected it would. But I think expecting it to be like the Vic or the Moore shows was off-base to begin with. Whole different deal.

I wish I could invite you all over to my house because it sounds really good on my 11-year-old VAIO desktop's built-in speakers.  Sony 2011 technology, baby.

Yeah it went to hell after the supposed reboot. First five sounded great.
