There was a 2022 code? Holy shit. Tickets have become so fuckin annoying honestly.
I felt this way about merch after like 2013 tour. Unless there’s almost no line and they have what I’m looking for, I don’t bother anymore. Perhaps tickets are next if they become exceedingly costly/difficult/scarce

Oh yea. I gave up on merch a while ago. Not worth my time and effort at all. The merch scene has become pretty cringey.

They need to start announcing legs further out if they intend to do less shows. Then people might not be traveling from all over the place because they know their time to see them locally will come. Like this MSG show…the odds the band is going to be back on the East Coast next year is extremely high.

If I’m not mistaken last full US tour was 2016. That’s not helping. Was talking to another fan yesterday about it, maybe small tours and these opening act/shorter shows opening acoustic are the new normal because of the age/health of one or more members.

True. But if you don’t count pandemic years they’ve just released an album and these first two US legs hardly took them to the East Coast and didn’t take them to the West Coast at all. Or Chicago area. These are 3 of their biggest markets. I don’t even think this MSG show would be happening in absence of the Apollo show. Probably was just a convenience for them at the time these dates were initially scheduled.

Either way, I’m accepting of missing an msg show for the first time since my first one in 2003. If I wake up and prices have gone down a lot, I’d grab one. Too old to just go there and hope for the best. Oh well. At least I have Camden coming.

The Garden show is a makeup from 2020, as are the other shows on this leg. Why would they cancel New York City?

Apollo show was also meant to happen in 2020. And the touring route made much less sense relative to the dates they had in Canada.
