worth the trip into chaos. found a boss tr-2 for less than it would cost me to build a tremolo from scratch.

tried a mesa F30. not long enough to get a true opinion though since i was distracted by the 52 reissue tele i was playing.

beautiful guitar and they offered me some money off it but the neck pickup was gibbled and it had too much shop wear IMO.

all the pedals i sold to them were gone already save the 535Q.

    What halloween sale?
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

kinda sad when i'm at the point where i can look at a $2000 (CAN) 52 tele and not say "holy shit" and reach for my credit card. instead i say "too much wear". spoiled is right.

they also have a really nice left-handed les paul standard but i'm not digging on the pauls right now.

You know how far I'd have to drive to demo a Marshall JTM45? I think the store I shop at has two American Fenders in stock right now. All the Squire and Mexi-Fender stuff you could ask for, though.

well, in trade for the beautiful gear, i had to listen to two toolbelts "jamming" with fucking PRS's into fender champion 30s of all things.

    it gets worse:

they were in two different keys.

I'm guessing one tried to rip out "Crazy Train" by Ozzy...

If I worked in a place like that, I'd get a shirt with the all-important phrase from Wayne's World: "No Stairway." The back would read "Denied!"

Here are a couple PRS guitars that I would probably play with little complaint...

the fender dyna touch champions may well be the worst amplifiers ever made they sound like refried ass, the best is when they grab a PRS and say a Boss Metal Zone to try out, get on one of those Crate GFX stacks and start wailing on an out of tune guitar, that's the best. That's when Chuck turned on his vaccum.

    colour me dumb-assed.

the 52 reissue is supposed to be all dark on the neck pickup.

    i'm an idiot.

still don't like that though. i'd go straight to the modern wiring.
