    Last time i saw my Dad. 2019. Our trips to Maryland every summer after got postponed due to covid and i never saw him again.

    Sorry for your losses. I will add my vote for Sad in Nashville as I will be at that show. I lost my grandfather Sgt. Major Thomas Story (WWII vet) a year and a half ago to cancer and my grandmother Beatrice (his wife of 73 years) this January. I was their full-time caregiver for the last 4 years of their lives. I miss them every day.

    Aww. I am so sorry for your losses. It's tough, isn't it? I think SAD is perfect and my Mom and mom in law live the true SAD every day now as they were both married over 50 and 60 years

    Yeah. Its been especially hard on my mom. She lost both her parents and her brother within a span of a year so she is now the last one living from that side of the family. She Lost her aunt and uncle over the last two years as well. My grandparents loved portraying Santa and Mrs. Claus. (Thats his real beard)



    We have to wait until next year for their service at Arlington National Cemetery so for the time being, they're still "with us".
