i'm grabbing that pedal from the shop this week if you still want it. just say the word.
  • I want it! I like to support small businesses. It would be cool to have one before you get bought out by Bill Gates. It will be known as the Pre-Microsoft era GCP.

They'll be discussing them on this board 30 years from now.

shit holy fuck howd I miss that. FUCK FUCK FUCK you could sell the Blue Hippo for 400 bucks.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
  • I actually made a play for that, but it went from 315 to 460 in a second, then,,,,,,poof,,,gone.

I don't even know what a blue hippo is, ( I do now!)
So I will remain direct wired to my deluxe and boogie for now with my green ts-9 tubescreamer that everyone makes fun of here, but has been with me since who knows when. (modded by Vaughns mods, if you ever heard of him.)

Waiting patiently for my NEW switcheroo thing! from GCP

way huge, no. George Tripps, works for Line 6 now. He aint got the time.

Lovetone, I don't doubt it. But if you pay 500 bucks plus for a pedal you are nuts unless you make Shaq money.

Vaughn was the one that told me to use carbon batteries, not alkaline and it does make a difference! I don't use a power adapter, sounds better without.

yeah, just like the cool sound you get from a rat if you put a dying battery in it. Wierd stuff happens with voltage sag.

  • I have friends that used to travel with the Dead. Jerry Garcia always collected the dying 9 volts and put them in his overdrives at 7 volts.

O yeah? It give it a more gainy sound. If the amps loud enough it's really cool.

I like to overvolt them and get more headroom. 18 and 24V so cool. They really sparkle.

Generally, I think he had no problem having loud enough amps!
When your system is called the "wall of sound", gotta be loud enough!
