Oh, give in to temptation... 410 cabs are the best!!!
It's really personal preference, but I think 10" speakers are better for guitar than 12" speakers. They have a better-defined low-end, and have a lot more punch. They are a lot more friendly to overdrive (as opposed to distortion or fuzz) and have a warmer clean sound. Of course, it varys from speaker to speaker, and amp to amp... but I'm definitely a 10" fan.
