Schiphol Airport mess (Amsterdam shows)

Hey, people.

I'm a bit worried about the current chaos at Schiphol Airport, specifically the queue to pass security checks, which could take 4 hours, with the risk of missing your flight.
Any tips from locals? Is the situation that bad? I'm attending the 1st show on the 24th and leaving the following day at 19:50: I have read also that there are issues on the trains connecting the airport with the Cruijff Arena-Ziggo Dome area (I will be staying in a nearby hotel).

From my "research" seems that the security can take up to two hours to clear once you join.

My intention was to arrive at the airport around 4 hours before my flight departs.

Not aware of issues with the trains though.

I haven't heard of any issues with the trains BUT if there's any issue with the train connecting Bijlmer Arena directly to Schipol, then just take the train or metro to Amsterdam Zuid and then train from Zuid straight to Schipol.

Security line times at Schipol are varying pretty wildly - a friend flew out Monday morning a week ago and spent 4 hours queuing, a friend flew out this morning and made it through in 90 minutes.  Flying on a Monday evening may not be as bad as the morning, but I would give yourself 4+ hours just in case.

So should I get there 5 hours before my flight to be safe?  Do they even let people check baggage more than 4 hours before a flight?
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

EasyJet for one says they open the luggage check in 2h before the flight. You‘d still start queuing earlier. Maybe you’re lucky and can check it in on your own

I was there in late June. Arriving was no problem so long as you're not waiting for a checked bag (it was a disaster if you were). Leaving, there was no issue getting an uber to drop us right out front. We didn't have to check in or drop bags so security + passport control took about 1 hour or a little more. Do whatever you can to go with carryon only.

Was reading up on Schiphol earlier, some of the stories, photos and videos are unreal, and big queues seem to be a regular occurrence.

Worrying about the show being on and worrying about getting home might now put me off traveling. Got them in Krakow, seen them in Amsterdam before, not fussed on the uncertainty and hassle right now.
