Concert Posters

I don't understand the system for posters while only sold at the concerts. Couldn't concert posters be sold directly through the 10C ( - maybe on demand with the tickets) ?
Chased a concert poster in Berlin before the concert, arrived at opening hour just to see a line of 150-200m - not worth the time.
Contacted the artist in Berlin who stated he had problems with customs (German artist in Berlin !!!)
Once these posters came out on the artists homepage they were immediately sold out and popped up directly at eBay with addresses in the states to 3 times the price.
So if the system is that these posters are just merchandise in order to make money with them - okay for me, reminds a little about the John Oliver episode some weeks ago describing ticket sales and raising money through a second market with much higher prices
But for people like me who just want them as a souvenir of a nice evening hanging on the wall it would be nice if they could be bought through the 10C.
I like seeing the posters of the US tour in the shop, hope 10C is proceeding with this even for the European concerts.

They should be available for you... for me personally,  the hysteria over merchandise is not worth taking away from the show... but then again, I have 30 yrs of pj stuff collecting dust... lol
 It would be awesome if 10c could bundle a package with your ticket but might be quite an ordeal.. 
I hope someone could help you out or keep an eye out on 10c

Which poster do you need? Posters from the EU leg will be soon available on 10c..you need to check regularly the website..

Most of the time, they are sold on the scheduled bootleg release date which will probably be announced in the next newsletter

For the 2009 tour (not sure if it was all of it, but I remember it being an option for the calgary 09 show) you could order a poster online before the show, and they mailed it out to you.  No having to spend hours in a line to get one, or worry that it'll get damaged, or have to carry it around for hours.  It was great!

I think the rumour of why that didn't continue is that it was a lot of work for a smaller outfit like 10c to do.   I wish they'd start it up again.  So much nicer going to a show, and not having to deal with the merch lines
