Your Concerts 2023?

Anyone have tickets to any 2023 concerts yet?

I just bought a pair of tickets to Tori Amos concert at Oslo concert hall in April of 2023.

That is my first 2023 show.

I used to go to concerts all of the time. I haven't been to anything since about 2018. Right now I can't think of anything I'd like to go to. Was meant see PJ in 2020 but can't go this year. The pandemic has made me really lazy and has left me not really bothered about socialising or going out. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Rage Against The Machine is the only one so far.   So far this year I've seen two EV and The Earthling, 2 PJ's, Our Lady Peace, Cheap Trick/ZZ Top.  Still holding onto pumpkins tickets for November.

Not sure what else I need to catch up on... lol.. so much of my favourite music doesn't tour anymore.  I'm at the point.. it's like.. it's it on a weekend? lol.  Especially if I have to go to Vancouver/Seattle to go (hence the Pumpkins show being on a Stat Holiday).

I'm sure some more stuff will pop up.

    0 so far

I was happy with just getting tickets to 4 shows in 2022, considering the last three years has been zero

I was thinking about going to one of Bono shows in NYC, but I’ll pass with hopes PJ is coming to Hartford. Concert funds are a bit then.

I saw the Bono Stories of Surrender show in Boston last month. It's not your traditional concert by any means but was incredibly entertaining if you are a fan of the man and his band. Seeing him tell stories, especially the ones involving his father was worth the price of admission.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I am thinking of going to one of these. Hopefully, with 8 shows at the Beacon, I will be able to get a ticket before the bots scoop them all up.

As far as 2023 concerts - I am going to the Innings Festival in Tempe in February, and the Arctic Monkeys in NYC in September. That is all that is on the books right now.

I'm not holding tickets for anything right now :(  I do keep looking for a decent pair of Seattle Springsteen tickets, but other than that, not much to coerce me into missing work to travel to Vancouver/Seattle for a show.  Also doesn't feel like much I'm interested in going to see.  I suppose I am holding tickets to a black halos show (Canadian punk band) for a bar show, but I don't feel that counts so much.

Don't have too much planned at the moment. We may go to the Springsteen show in February. Aside from that, Tyler Childers is the only show we have locked in.

if PJ announces shows I’ll try for tickets.

My dream show would be PJ at Comerica. Looking at the calendar for “funzies” , I noticed Pink had a concert Aug. 16 and the calendar was open, I believe, after that until the Cubs come into following week. Wishful thinking…

    Detroit 2000, Detroit 2003 1-2, Grand Rapids VFC 2004, Philly 2005, Grand Rapids 2006, Detroit 2006, Cleveland 2006, Lollapalooza 2007, Detroit Eddie Solo 2011, Detroit 2014, Chicago 2016 1-2, Chicago 2018 1-2, Ohana Encore 2021 1-2, Chicago Eddie/Earthlings 2022 1-2, Nashville 2022, St. Louis 2022

I can pretty much guarantee that the HB's will tour next year. They tour every year and are so great live. If they don't tour, Erika usually tours solo.

I forgot to mention that I’m hoping for an arena American tour but at this point it doesn’t seem likely! Enjoy it
