European Tour 2022: Meet Ups & Pre-Parties

As not everyone has Facebook, here are the the meet ups I have seen there so far. I will update the first post, when I see new events. Feel free to add dates.

BERLIN Meet Up:

PRAGUE Meet Up: 
Amsterdam Pearl Jam meet-up 'end of the tour' party
  • Date: Saturday, July 3rd. 6pm to 11:30 pm
  • Location: TBA 
  • "And with the Amsterdam dates we conclude the EU tour. Come join us for a 'end of the tour' party in Amsterdam city centre. There  will be bands, beers and friends."

    I texted with the organizer of the Krakow Pre-Party and it seems the moderators of the 2022 group haven’t approved the event yet.
    It is a post from two days ago. 
    I will update this thread as soon as it’s an official Facebook event. 

    And there will be a Budapest Pre-Party/Fundraiser, too. I will post the details tomorrow.

    THE FUNDRAISER (Starting at 18:00)
    With so many like-minded people gathering in one space, it is a great opportunity to do some good. There will be a raffle with all proceeds benefiting refugees from Ukraine through the Copernicus Group Foundation (Koper Pomaga).
    Some of the people who started this organization are Pearl Jam fans from Poland and they will be present to tell you more about their amazing work.

    THE ENTERTAINMENT (Starting at 20:30)
    We are very lucky to have a special performance from the Superunknowns, a local Soundgarden tribute band, who are donating their efforts to rock your evening. They have put together a loud 1-hour set and you do not want to miss it.

    THE VENUE (Kazinczy u. 14, 1075 Budapest)
    Szimpla Kert is an institution in Budapest and at the center of the party district. Together with the Superunknowns, we decided on this venue because of its combination of facilities and atmosphere. There are multiple bars and seating areas depending on your mood, so roam around and explore.
    But make sure you COME EARLY to avoid having to queue outside the venue, because Szimpla can get busy every night. This is a public event open to anyone, so let’s get as many Pearl Jam fans in here as we can. There are many decent places for food on the same block. Grab a bite and come on in.

    FREE ENTRY
    There is no cost for entry. Both the band and the venue have graciously given their time and space so that more can go towards the cause.

    HAVE FUN
    These pre-party fundraisers take place before every Pearl Jam concert in North America. They are not so common in Europe, so it is special to be able to host this in Budapest. It is a general meetup. Have a few drinks, share a few laughs, buy some raffle tickets or donate if you can. But, most importantly, have fun. See you there!

    * For all Pearl Jam Fans who are in Vienna the day before the show and want to drink, eat, laugh, chat and dance with other fans

    * For all people who love the great alternative rock music from Seattle

    Main floor (ground floor - restaurant): Jamily Pre Party starting at 6:00 pm (CET) with DJ BuzzDriver - serving the rarities and hits by Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder and history / sideprojects - deejaying starts at 8.00pm, wishes are welcome.

    Sundeck container-Bar: Beer/ Drinks, fries & Grunge. Enjoy your drinks & food in the sun and listen to great grunge tunes from Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Mother Love Bone, etc.

    Entry to the Party and to the bar is free of charge.

    Swimming in the pool at Bdeschiff: All PJ Fans, who come in a PJ T-Shirt get cheaper entry into the pool on July 19 and 20 the whole day.

    How to get there: it's on the Danube Canal between Schwedenplatz and Urania. Nearest underground station is Schwedenplatz with U1 and U4. From the central Stephansplatz (U3/U1), where the dome is it's only about 10 min. walk.
