I received commemorative tickets today for the Oakland shows, which I purchased through Ticketmaster on May 5.  San Diego commemorative tickets (purchased through the Ten Club lottery) arrived several days ago.

Has anyone received commemorative tickets yet for L.A., Glendale or Fresno?  If so, please post a notice here.

Got LA1 a few days ago (purchased with fan club drawing). Have not received LA2 (purchased through fan to fan resale).

Still waiting on both Earthlings Chicago.

Got both LA shows today!  Very cool, glad I could get the tickets in physical form to pair with the posters

The Gigaton card stock is cool, but it is an outrage that these cost ten dollars.  Ten dollars for something that surely costs less than a dollar to create.

In Phoenix, they printed a ticket for me at the window because I couldn't access the wallet on the smartphone I had borrowed from a friend since I don't have a smartphone.  I kind of wish I had asked them to print me a ticket at every show and saved myself 70 bucks.

If you have multiple shows, its supposed to be $10 for all of them, and they send each ticket after that show has played. (At least that was how it worked if you bought multiple 10c tix in the lottery). But they seem to ask you several times if you want to buy the commemorative ticket. I ordered the commem ticket for SD Earthlings with my original ticket order. I got an email reminder of the show coming up and another offer to buy a commemorative ticket. In case somehow it didn't go through the 1st time, I ordered the commem ticket again. I later looked at my cc statement and I was indeed charged both times for the same ticket, so I stupidly paid $20 for that thing! I did get ONE commem ticket. Some people never got theirs.

So far I have only received the PJ SD commemorative ticket. Hopefully I will get them all, but if others already have their LAs, I wonder.

Also, the f2f tix complicate things. Only the original owner would get the commemorative ticket, if they ordered one. No way to contact original owner to ask, unless you coordinated a drop with someone for your f2f tix.

I also wonder about the cancelled shows. Do you still get the commemorative ticket you ordered? If not, do they issue a refund with the regular ticket refund?

Commemorative tickets for cancelled shows likely refund. But at this rate, that cardstock is cool enough that I wouldn't be too upset to get a Vegas ticket after everything that's happened.

I got my notification for Glendale late last week. I know people who had already received their Glendale commemorative tix before I even got my shipping notification. So it seems its all kinda random.

Got Fresno today (purchased through Verified Fan).  I never received an email about it.  It just came in the mail, as did Oakland (purchased through general Ticketmaster).

Funny. I thought these were free and came when you purchased tickets. I don't care either way, just didn't realize it was an add on.

Did the envelopes have tickets today or Ticketmaster on the outside?   If it looks generic I typically tear up mail and throw out.

Thanks.   I could see myself throwing that away.  Hopefully I didn’t.

edit:  my PHX ticket was waiting in the mailbox for me when I got home.  Pretty cool.

My Fresno ticket came in a Ticketmaster envelope with a Charleston, West Virginia, return address.

Pro tip: don't ever throw away intact any item addressed to you in the mail.  It's not only a fraud prevention measure to rip up or shred the item, but you'd be surprised at the important or useful things that may come to you in the mail unexpectedly and/or unrecognizably.  For example, in California, if you underpay or overpay your state taxes, you will get a notice in the mail-- not by email or phone-- from "Franchise Tax Board," which many people won't recognize for what it is.  You will want to either cash that check or pay those arrears.  A few years ago, I received a nondescript envelope in the mail that I opened and discovered a check for about $1,000 in conjunction with a class-action securities lawsuit that I had long-ago forgotten I was a party to since it took years to resolve.  I'm glad I opened that envelope.

On the other hand, I guess someone could send you anthrax in a nondescript envelope. ;)

Thanks for this.  I went back into my mail pile that I assumed was all junk and found it.  Now just waiting for LA1 ticket.

It’s reasonable to assume anything stating it’s from “customer service” to not be from TM.

Nice.  I definitely don't think it would be very easy to stuff Scott Ian in an envelope.

Even with all events supposedly paperless, DMB Warehouse tickets are still paper copies with a foil logo sent by FedEx.

I wonder why the City & State are not on the Ticket?

I got mine.... nice tickets but Not sure why they are charging $10 for them.
I know some of it goes to the Vitalogy Foundation.... but come on.... these used to be included in the ticket prices.

Ticketmaster should lower their prices now that everything is digital and they don't have to PRINT tickets anymore.  (But you know the aholes won't do that, they are loving all the profits they are getting now)
  • I ordered the Commemorative Ticket for the canceled Las Vegas concert, but they didn't refund me for it. Are they still going to send it out even when the concert was canceled, or is it just nonrefundable?

For $10, you just get the S.D. in SDSU.  If you want them to spell out San Diego, you have to pay $15.
