Riot Act/Showbox 20

I would not turn down a December gig at the Showbox to mark the 20th anniversary of those shows, nor would I turn down some sort of deluxe Riot Act reissue. Just putting that out into the world, as they say.

I know this not even close to a popular opinion, but Riot Act is my favorite Pearl Jam album.

A lot of the people here really panned Riot Act when it came out. I love it. 😍

The Buffalo show I saw on that tour was unreal. Riot Act has a special place in my PJ memories.

On certain days Riot Act is by far my favorite PJ album. So dark and proggy! I remember Mike saying something at one point about them considering doing a series of album shows in a smaller venue in Seattle. Would still love to see that

My favorite PJ concert ever was July 8, 2003, as commemorated on the Live at the Garden DVD. That 2003 tour was one for the books.

The first PJ thing I ever heard was the Mansfield Night 3 boot from the 2003 tour. And now I'm here. I have a warm place in my heart for Riot Act/Avocado eras, that's when I found and fell in love with the band.

I love it. It's an album that I wasn't too impressed with at first but now I think is a masterpiece.

Right now it only trails behind Yield and Binaural as my favorites.  It's a shame that hardly any of those songs get played live anymore.
