i'm toying with the idea of trading in my bass for...

a nicer bass.

even though i don't deserve a bass that nice.

my mexican with the noiseless set and the gotoh bridge is pretty nice but i've been staring at this deluxe on the wall for a long time.

    She's purdy. A left hand bass looks a lot cooler than a left hand guitar. A left hand bass even looksk cooler than a right hand bass, come to think of it.

    i love playing bass because i don't have a bloody clue what i'm doing. i find it easier to come up with fun, melodic things on bass.

    well, it's squirrelled away from me at the shop to test drive tomorrow. if i like it, i'll pull the trigger. and then i'll change the pickguard.

    i'd just better do something spectacular for valentine's day. ;)

    eh, the payments fall under my monthly fun money limit. it's a victimless crime.

    I snagged a 32 inch Samsung LCD TV for about 13-1400, because I think it was a return, unopened. I've seen it retail for at least 16-1700, so I think I got a good deal, along with the 0% financing on a Best Buy credit card for about two years. More than enough time to pay it off. High Def is so worth it though, especially for sports. The Super Bowl looked amazing.

    That's just Sony's way of saying DLP, right? All these terms are so damn confusing, but they all add up to one spectacular image.

    thankfully i only play enough bass that the stuff in my bass pod keeps me happy.

    but maybe i'll try to play only bass for a month or something and see what happens.

    picked it up tonight. i really didn't think it would be that much different than my mex in feel but holy shit it's night and day. it's so smooth to play and the balance is just that much better with the different body cut.

    18V active EQ is addictive too.

    No, DLP is a totally different technology.

    The 3 main technologies out there now are:

    DLP
    LCD
    Plasma
