I’ve got 264XXX, and felt pretty great about my 2020 initial lottery tickets. Lower bowl, section next to Mike, last row (handicapped seats). Really worked out for my son, no issues not being able to see. Fingers crossed for this lottery!

OK I thought this time around everything was about as clear as could be myself. I thought they did a good job. I ordered my tickets and got an email from tickets today it listed my choices for tickets. I thought it was super easy and pretty clear what was going on only thing I did not do was sign up for verified pin. I missed that part but like everyone else is saying face-to-face is probably easier anyways.
You have till tomorrow to sign up for verified fan

Well that’s helpful context, I’m high 719 and joined in May 2022 which means they didn’t add hardly anyone during COVID at 3k but added 15k in just the last year based on someone who shared a friend’s number last week.

Question, what is considered a low Fan Club account number these days? Like below 100000? 200000?
I would even say sub 300000 wouldn't be considered too bad now. Think about the number of 10C members who are aging. My number is 365XXX, and I renewed that in 2006. I originally had a number from the 90s and let unfortunately had it lapse. I'm a huge PJ fan too. So I'm guessing many have let there's lapse over the years and finally renewed. Or many just lost interest, became MAGA Republicans ( LOL), died, or busy with kids, careers, etc. How many of the first 300,000 members still have the original member numbers? I'd say maybe 1/3 or less.
I joined in July 2003 and have never lapsed. I'm a 308xxx. Husband first joined a bit later, his original number was 330xxx but he's lapsed a couple times. I think he's in the 450xxx range now. Daughter lapsed a few times and I believe she's 570xxx now

I’ve told this story around here before but I remember my dad pointing out the PO Box instructions in the Vs. liner notes and suggesting that I send in the five bucks. Because I was a snotty kid who didn’t think his old man knew anything about anything, I ignored him. It wasn’t until I was over 30 and close to having a kid of my own before I got over myself enough to sign up for a band’s “fan club.” Now I’ve got a shitty Ten Club number and a son who doesn’t listen to me.

I joined in early 90s but marriage, infertility and babies lead me to dropping it in early 2000s and now my number is a sad 600s as I rejoined in 2017. Chris Cornell's passing kicked me back into gear.

Looks like U2 is using the same lottery system for the Sphere shows in Vegas
And F2F resale, at least for floor/GA tickets.
Hopefully they have the same rules as PJ. When I did F2F for Billy Strings last year, ticketmaster actually took fees out of the sale. So I ended up losing like $35 on the pair.

Oo i love the complaint ranking ... my favorite is when people complain about "out of towners" hogging all the tickets to their "local" show ... and when people suggest people with local zip codes should have higher priority for tickets.

Either that or when someone complains they didn't get tickets to their super high demand show (i.e. MSG or Wrigley 13) but other people got multiple lower demand shows and that somehow isn't fair.

So my understanding is that placement of seating through tenclub will be based on seniority.  Do I have a proper understanding?

I luckily have let my tenclub auto renew and am in the 207xxx range

I have # 210xxx and for the cancelled Vegas show my seats were on the first row of the reserved seats on the floor directly behind the pit.

169,000 and joined in March of 1998. I was listening to Yield when I joined.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
  • Ha, you're all miles ahead of me at 714xxx.

141,XXX joined in 1995 while in college around the Vitalogy release? The first ten club tickets were for the No Code tour...man, I wish I would have held on to those tickets...they were pretty.

That said, I'm not sure if seniority is truly followed in assigning tickets. For Nashville, we were about 20 rows up Stone's side, but a buddy who just joined in 2020 got tickets 10 rows lower in the same section. I'm not a complainer and I've had front row and last row on the lawn and all concert experiences are unique and amazing.

Just a cautionary tale, but also a reminder to just enjoy the shows and not stress about the priority or seniority. I remember the days when they would lottery the first and tenth rows for fairness. It was cool sitting behind some younger fans who had won the front-row lottery and were having the time of their lives.

I'm 425xxx and joined about 4 years later than I wanted to. Boy-oh-boy do I wish I had the wherewithal to have made a few clicks and spent my money on the membership instead of a case of beer.

About 80% of us joined later than we wanted to. Welcome to the club, and don't worry about seniority  now - you'll still have better seats than if you tried via public on sale, and I can assure you that you won't worry about it when the band walks on stage :)

    Pick 1 = MSG 1 GA LOST
    Pick 2 = Philly 2 RES LOST
    Pick 3 = MSG 2 RES LOST
Pick 4 = Greenville RES LOST

Pick 1 = Jacksonville RES WIN
Pick 2 = Miami GA WIN

    1) Your username and icon are great.
    2) Your seating assignments for Nashville are definitely peculiar.
    3) It was actually rows 1, 2, 9 and 10...which they still did at Fenway Park due to those shows not having GA.

This is my first lottery. I signed up and got confirmation and everything but I just happed to look at my tickets in the drop down box and it says I haven’t entered in any drawings. Is this normal?
