I haven't been to a bunch of shows--last night was my 5th. I'm a person that has a hard time just being--letting myself get lost in the music. So, I'm always more aware of the people around me than I like to be. Last night, I was in front of a couple much shorter than me (I'm very tall). I know they were annoyed, but they were super cool about it. In front of me was a wild dancer, who whacked me in the head and stepped on my feet. You were awesome, man. Keep rocking! And, across the aisle was a super drunk guy who appeared to be trying to get his companion to have sex with him in their seats before he fell asleep sitting up during "Black." No real point to this post other than to say: last night was a blast and a PJ show makes me love a bunch of people I might hate in other situations. Looking forward to more craziness tonight.

I’m with you on being hyper aware of other people during the shows. I envy the thousands of people who seem to not notice the iPhone screens, the off key singing by the drunk guy in your row, etc. The good thing is, I have noticed that this tour, I’m getting less annoyed and am more appreciative of the forest for the trees. In San Diego, I was just happy to be at a show again. In LA last night, I was around some cool fans and it was very easy to have fun. Also, it was my nephew’s first show and he had a blast. Trying not to take things too seriously. So far so good for this tour.San Diego 10/25/00, Mountain View 6/1/03, Santa Barbara 10/28/03, Northwest School 3/18/05, San Diego 7/7/06, Los Angeles 7/9/06, 7/10/06, Honolulu (U2) 12/9/06, Santa Barbara (EV) 4/10/08, Los Angeles (EV) 4/12/08, Hartford 6/27/08, Mansfield 6/28/08, VH1 Rock Honors The Who 7/12/08, Seattle 9/21/09, Universal City 9/30/09, 10/1/09, 10/6/09, 10/7/09, San Diego 10/9/09, Los Angeles (EV) 7/8/11, Santa Barbara (EV) 7/9/11, Chicago 7/19/13, San Diego 11/21/13, Los Angeles 11/23/13, 11/24/13, Oakland 11/26/13, Chicago 8/22/16, Missoula 8/13/18, Boston 9/2/18, Los Angeles 2/25/22 (EV), San Diego 5/3/22, Los Angeles 5/6/22, 5/7/22, Imola 6/25/22, Los Angeles 5/21/24, [London 6/29/24], [Boston 9/15/24]0
