remember, back when i got my first SG, and it grew a crack at the headstock and i freaked out.
well, it held for 18 months and is still holding.
but, since i'm not playing anyway, i'm sending it back to gibson to get fixed up. assuming they agree to take it.
i swear, this guitar was cursed by gypsies, the crack and the ding within two weeks of getting it. the techs here tell me it's just a lacquer crack but it aggravates my OCD so i'm going to pay through the nose to ship it to gibson and get it fixed right.

considering there are only 6 lefty bursts made in that run, i guess it's worth it.
