San Diego show - Klinghoffer guitar and Fuzz effect builder - "Carlos"?

Josh mentioned that he had a baritone guitar built by him by "Carlos" who was apparently at the San Diego show.  Not sure if Carlos is local to San Diego or was just in town for the gig.  Josh later mentioned that he should "Use Carlos' Fuzz curcuit" on a song.  The tone that resulted was awesome.  Probably a longshot, but does anyone know who "Carlos" might be.  Would be interested in seeing if that fuzz is something that is potentially available out there; if nothing else, would be cool to find out any info about the builder.
