cool. I wonder what the switch does. If it engaged germanium diodes, that would just be too cool.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

i'm not exactly sure. the clips on the site and the descriptions don't shed any light. those clips have way more octave than i'd ever use.

edit: found more info. the switch cuts the octave effect and some high end out to make it a more conventional germanium fuzz when needed.

the limited information available on these guys is positive so i thought i'd take a dive. it was a good deal.

the high canadian dollar makes all these things on fleabay too affordable now.

As long as we are doing this kind of thing and not swapping yachts and Ferrari's I think we're ok mentally.

i was actually going to buy one but i have other money issues for a long time coming...

by the way, anyone know if the slight change in operation the new flender has (can't remember exactly what it is... i think it has a spot for an ac adaptor and something else more affecting the mechanics) is an improvement?

we know how much reissues can ruin the sound of a pedal... *cough* big muff *cough*

it's nasty. i like it. we'll see if i actually find uses for it though.

this particular one from stereoscope, i would avoid though. the build quality is not there at all and the operation of it is a little suspect. get a proper fender reissue or the flender if you feel like spending more.

isn't the reissue cheaper than the one you bought...?

    139.99 for the new flender

i paid about half price. luckily. because it's no better build than a russian muff or something.

but yes, the new fender blender is $140US.
