Bruce Willis quits acting due to aphasia

To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.
This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that.
Love,
Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn

Committing to a couple big budget films I would think would pay off more. And I’m only guessing these are a string of low budgets since no one has heard of any of them, but that could be wrong.
The movie looks like a megalomaniac's hot celluloid mess that maybe shares some character names and plot elements with the book.
He had his lines fed to him through an earpiece and people have said he sometimes didn’t know why he was where he was. I doubt towards the end it would have even worked having him in ”big budget” movies.
For most of these low budget straight to video garbage movies he made, he got paid $1,000,000 for about two days worth of work. It was mostly the same director on all of them. The director and studio got the benefit of slapping his face on the movie poster to generate some interest and saying Bruce Willis was in their movie while Willis got the benefit of making tens of millions over a relatively short period of time for doing not much of anything, except sacrificing his reputation as an A list actor......but now with his condition publicly known, I would think that would subside .
Yeah. This stuff is pretty interesting. Obviously takes on a different meaning now....but still pretty wild.
I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of that Half In The Bag video. Of course they didn't know about Bruce's condition at the time, but the guy on the right seemed like such a smug little prick.
