Covers for 2022 Tour

What covers do you want to hear PJ perform on the upcoming tour?  Last tour was heavy with Pink Floyd covers (Mother, Comfortably Numb).  What do you think they'll play this time out there?

There's an entire new album many of us have never experienced live. I'd like more PJ songs and less covers.

Something from the Hip in Canada would be amazing. If the cover makes sense for the city I am all for that. Other than that though I do not need any covers especially if the sets are getting shorter.

Do EV songs count as covers?

Count me in on the "no covers" side as well.  I'd be ok if Baba and RITFW took a break too, but i don't see that happening..

Please no covers. I never want to see RITFW again. EV can’t seem to get past this song. Put it to rest for a few tours.

No covers. We go to hear Pearl Jam songs. Especially if the 2021 trend of significantly shorter sets continues, don’t want 15%-20% of the show being covers.

I don't expect shorter sets.  Last year's shows were festival shows with curfews, we should be fine moving forward.

I see a lot of dislike for covers.  I don't mind one a show but I agree no more RITFW for sure.  I'd like to hear a full band version of Let My Love Open the Door like they did at Soldier Field in 1995.  I heard Ed sing it on a solo tour and I actually liked it.  Don't Be Shy by Cat Stevens like at Boise, ID in 2000 was really good.  I can relate to the lyrics.  Ed introduces it as a song they found to help them get through hard-core depression.  I though it was really cool at Las Vegas and Memphis in 2000 when they played the Elvis song I Cant Help Falling in Love with You.  Also in 2000 in Lubbock, TX they played Everyday by Buddy Holley because that's where he is from.  I also liked it at Nashville in 2003 when they tagged Betterman with Wild Thing even though I never get tired of hearing Save it For Later get tagged.  I would love to hear the actual full version of Save it For Later like they did at Chicago in 2006.  I don't really count tagging a song as a cover.  I loved it when they tagged Wishlist with the Buzzcocks at MSG in 2003 and the crowd shook the roof answering back "Oh Why Can't I Touch You!".  It's OK tagged with Daughter is always good as well.  What is really cool is when some cover comes out of nowhere that they have never played before.  As long as its kept to one cover a show I'm OK with it as long as it's not the same ones over and over.

I would have loved to have heard sittin on the dock of the bay.  Or they can start Camden with Invincible.

Covers on this tour could be filed as "cmon guys." Infrequent tours historically,  followed by a forced pandemic break, followed by shorter sets. And then...here's 3 or 4 of someone else's songs? Cmon guys, read the room.

Maybe they could play a FF song in LA, in memory of Taylor, since he was from there.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I have used Rocking in the Free World as a way to beat traffic at at least 3 shows.

Please let's remember that Last Kiss is a cover and should never be played again.
