    how is that uniphase?

quite nice. since it's based on a phaser and not a true vibe circuit, it's more even in sweep up and down. it's still thick though. i like it though since i don't really like the true uni-vibe effect anyway. i've used it mostly on clean guitars thus far with good results.
  • The Rat looks good, man! I think you'll be pretty happy with the Rat. It has a nice even fuzz about it, but still has that bite when you stomp on it! It tails off nicely, too! :D

I just ordered a uni phaser from Eric, too. Check's in the mail!

  • I should get me a simple chorus pedal and team up mrs and mr Champ.

Ex, board looks cool. I say 'look' cause I actually haven't the faintest idea what half the pedals on there are for :D

    it's a pretty basic chain.

volume (with a tuner off it)
    chorus
    phaser
    compressor
    overdrive
    boost
    delay
  • How do you like the Diamond Drive? The lead feature is something that i'd like to have on an OD.
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike

"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

the diamond is a great pedal. one of the best overdrives i've tried. the tone control is voiced differently and makes for better bass response.

the lead just boosts the gain. i don't use it much for recording but i'm sure it's nice to have in a live situation.
