    It’s not prevalent throughout the series though, only a scene in one ep I believe

    My grandpa was in that unit...trained B-17 radio operators. He couldn't fly because he was color blind...which was passed down to me

    Thank you...he's not. Died in 2007.

    He had a lot of good stories. A lot of screwing around on motorcycles...I can't remember which movies but I remember some scenes showing troops drinking and driving around and remembered him talking about that.

    He also had a lot of memories of the crews returning from bombing runs and talking about how thick the flak was. He said it looked like you could just jump out of the plane and walk on it.

    He knew morse code and all that as well. I have his old uniform. Unfortunately some moths tore it up a bit but it has held up amazingly well.

    When he got back he worked for the Indiana State Police...he was a communications officer until he retired.

    That Silo finale!  Wow.  Sounds like there will be 2 more seasons to tell the full story.  I kinda want to read the books to find out what happens

    My wife and I watched all of the Slow Horses seasons over the holidays. Absolutely loved that show and can’t wait for seasons 5 and 6!!

    I need to watch the finale. The books are fantastic. I recommend.

    Just signed up for 3 free months. Watched season 1 episodes 1 and 2 of Silo last night. Waa going to continue this morning but my daughter is home sick and has already claimed the good tv for Fuller House. Ugh.

    Finished Silo 1 and 2. It’s good. I just hate these shows where now I’ll have to wait another 5 years for the next season.
