Merch for the upcoming shows

Might be a dumb question but are all the posters shirts being sold at the shows going to get re done? Or is every shirt, poster going to have the wrong dates on them?

I’m sure it will be new design/dates, that equals more $$$.

Now that would be some funny shit if they did rehash all the show posters using the same design but with the new date on it. 😂😂

What would be better if they crossed out the old date and printed the new date.

Considering they sold the 2020 posters in the shop, I'm pretty sure it will be new designs. Given what we would have gotten, I'm hoping for new designs, not that it would be a travesty if I didn't buy more posters.

I think I jumped the shark.
More interested in chasing cool posters than concerts. Oh well. Time for a new crew to take my spot on the rail. Say hi to stone, big Pete and the band for me.

A different cat in each poster would be great.   Replace skulls and birds with cats in ‘22

I can get behind this. Especially if it means no more birds…

Kinda surprised that they won’t be selling stickers to cover up the 2020 poster’s dates.
  • SaravaSarava Posts: 2,019
I'd love the same poster with updated dates. I thought the St. Louis show had a great poster, and I missed out on the 10 club sale.
  • LoujoeLoujoe Posts: 8,987
Would be less demand from the average poster junkie if they reused posters being that they sold them already.

Put out an iso. You should be able to get one. Trade for it.

I’m all for new posters.  Wasn’t in love with too many of the 2020 versions.

Agreed that I think the artists need the work. I'm hoping for a good Las Vegas poster but am not holding my breath. I feel like there are lots of aspects from the city to incorporate into that poster but knowing my luck I'm sure it will be something odd and completely unrelated to anything to do with Vegas.

At least it will almost certainly be better than the last two Oakland posters!
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

I will not have you disparage the four-eyed cowboy......
I understand that Chuck Sperry was the artist for the second Oakland night...that never got released-maybe reusing the art for this time around...

I hope they don't drop the ball on the poster art for 9/11 at MSG.  So many great things they could do with that print.

Make a magnet out of the sticker and have a metal backing behind the poster, then you can have the best of both worlds.
