well, mine is just a piece of particle board from home depot with stick on velcro and handles but....
you could get tolex from these guys.

not sure about big sheets of velcro though. i've never been able to find that stuff. you could try emailing someone like this guy.

his design is pretty good i think. raised angled, solid frame, grommets through the top for the wiring.
as for the wiring. a voodoo pedal power or a dunlop DC brick would do the trick. if you change pedals a lot, use george Ls cable. if not, take the time to make your own out of good cable and ends.
i'd like to make a better one of my own and now that i'll soon have a house and perhaps space to work some wood, i might. so let me know what you find out.
