2022 North American Tour Odds

In 2020 I was able to find a page with odds somewhere in the mix. Can’t seem to find it this time. Anyone remember how to get there, or know where to find this year’s odds?

    I have a similar question:

Could trying for both GA and reserved for the Camden show increase your chances of getting nothing? Or do they run those lotteries separately?

    From the ticket selection page:
"Select all options below for Best Available. GA Pit inventory is extremely limited. Select multiple seat preferences to better your chances of getting tickets"
"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."

From what I remember when they ran it in 2020, you could select GA, reserved, or both. Then when they got to your name, if you had GA or reserved, and GA was available, you got it. If only reserved was selected, then you got put in reserved. If you had GA only, and GA was full when they picked your name, you missed out.

Later, they would assign your seats from the reserved pot based on seniority.

I did not try for tickets in 2020.
I really have not paid all that much attention to how these tickets for 2020 were refunded, exchanged, etc.

But is it safe for me to assume that THE ONLY tickets that will be available for MSG, will be tickets that were sent back for a refund in the last 2 years?
Meaning there may only be a few hundred tickets available?

Can an expert here please fill me in, on how many tickets they think are available for NYC.

Since GA is 10c only, it's safe to assume that any refunded GA tickets will go back into each venue's 10c lottery (not sure about reserved). And given that MSG had transferability due to state laws, I can't imagine many tickets available for the draw.

How many tickets TOTAL, do you think will be available for this show?

Well, they said that they're going to be offering Premium/Platinum tickets at "market rates" so I wouldn't hold my breath that there would be any GA available, even if a bunch of people asked for refunds.

Were we given the option to select both GA and reserved this time around? Or just one or the other?

And yet another question from good ole SPEEDY

If the Premium/Platinum seats were $750-$1000.00 for Mr. Vedder and his Earthling Friends. Or are those prices incorrect?

Then how much will Premium/Platinum seats be for Pearl Jam?

They advise you to select both:
"Select all options below for Best Available. GA Pit inventory is extremely limited. Select multiple seat preferences to better your chances of getting tickets"

Lowest price for MSG on StubHub right now is $500, and prices get up into the $1000+ range quickly. Denver is a little cheaper, with prices in the $300 area. I'm sure this well change a little in the next few weeks, as the ticket situation settles a bit, but yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they start off in the high triple digits for most shows, over a grand for MSG.

IIRC two years ago they were over $1500 for lower bowl
  • I just went through the process.  It seems like you can select both GA and seated for each show.  If you enter for multiple shows that's when priority comes in.  So, it seems like you can put in for GA without risking your seated tickets.  Does everyone agree?

I usually have had fantastic luck with the lottery but I missed out on all tickets I put in for in 2020 as well as Eddie's last tour.  So I'm a bit nervous.

So from what was commented earlier, they draw once per show, when they pick your member number, they will look at how you prioritize categories for that show and award tickets if available in the categories selected. Before 2020 didn’t they count each ticket category per show as separate, so if you pick GA for a show and that’s sold out, you’re pretty much out of luck, because by round two most shows are sold out, especially in the East where there are so few shows?
