EV's song "Invincible" ... wow ...

... it actually might be better than Tool's "Invincible". Quite the accomplishment.

Props to EV on this one.

I am loving this one!  I have listened to the album 3 times and this one ranks right at the top with Brother the Cloud.  Rose of Jericho is pretty good too.

While Pearl Jam and EV are my absolute favorite.....they are apples and oranges. Seeing Tool next month 10th row! Different levels.

I’m still trying to figure out what the Wilco reference is about or what an echo victor is. But agree, great song!

Echo Victor is the phonetic alphabet for the letters E and V.  As in Eddie Vedder.

Wilco is short for Will Comply but not sure if that’s what Ed is going for.

I took it was just the letter “W”. And since Eddie is a baseball fan, I think he’s saying “Will you win?”.

I love that people haven't picked it up yet. That's the beauty in music, truly.

You don't think the beauty in music is when people analyze and take / make the music / lyrics from artisits as their own??
That's what I hear amost every artist say when asked about the meanings of their lyrical content.
"I'd really like the listener to come up with his or her own thoughts on what they think about the song / words."
Hmmm - interesting thought from you.

  • Yeah i really like this one too, it's really uplifting. Just think of all those lucky people including the Canadians who get to hear it live in America soon.
