  • Looking good, my wife would have me sleeping in the garage by now, wait what am I thinking, My wife would have the neighbor in my place already and I'd be at a apartment!

Remember it wasn't to long ago that the big question was how to finish the pedal when the kit was built?

Did you ever solve the reverb issue? Did you stick with the top hat style reverb or the TC electronic reverb? I've heard the TC, and I was impressed for a digital reverb for guitar.

My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Yeah I need to go that route too. It's just to much screwing around buying different reverb pedals that no matter what will never give me what I really want. It's on the list with a cloned head version of a 5E3. I need to get the bass rig set before tracking on the new stuff begins. Just need to get some side project money in to pay for it.

    thanks.

yeah, the matchbox is obviously in the vox realm but, compared to the other vox pedal i built, this one's got a tighter low end and is more cutting. i actually had to change a couple things to make it a little less brittle in the highs for my tastes. but i like it. definitely a more aggressive sounding pedal and doesn't get as loose as the other pedal when the gain is turned up.
