all through my deluxe reverb which, honestly, needs new tubes or something.

the tremolo and filter were done with a casino. the mouse (rat) with a les paul and the beaver (muff) with a mustang.

various settings for the tremolo and filter. the rat in OD (assym clipping) and muff in settings i liked. both had the gains at about 1/3.

i have some digital hairiness going on with my mp3 converter in protools. not sure what the issue is.

anyway, not the best clips but sort of give you an idea. apologies for the sausagefingers.

Pretty nice run through on Alive if you ask me. Doesn't sound nearly that smooth when I play it.

I really like the way your filter sounds, you could really get some Fruscinate tones out of that.

the secret ingredient is delay...... and love. but mostly delay.

i bought the live at the gorge set the other day and dammit if i don't wish stone would gain it up for that song. way too tame these days.

Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

i know. i'm really enjoying it. more than the real one i used to have. but i'm also using it in the "overdrive" mode which sounds a little more defined with better bass than the "stock" mode.

i meant to play the same clip through my valve jr because that cabinet is nice and bassy and i think it would have sounded even better. i'll try to do that next chance i get.

    +1
  • Nice stuff, Ex! I may have to try one of those tremolos. I can solder anything on a guitar, but I haven't fooled with pedals, much and that looks like a pretty easy build.

What I want to do with my existing pedals is wire the switches so that I can keep my pedals on a table and not have to lean over all the time between, or during songs to fiddle with them, but have a little board on the floor with small foot switches to kick them on and off.

I like that envelope filter. thanks for that because before you posted it, I'd have had no idea what the hell an "envelope filter" is supposed to do.

well, you could build bypass boxes for each one. or undertake building your own programmable thing.
