Into the Wild

The lyrics and music from "In to the Wild" are amazing...There are no words. I listen to the album when I feel alone to center myself and feel like I'm connected to something else in this world that is fighting for justice. This album seriously makes me feel good and cry at the same time.
Thanks Eddie.

  • I agree, but there's more...the way Ed's voice resonates in each and every song. You can hear he FELT the words as he sang them. You say you "feel connected to something else in this world that is fighting for justice"...I feel this album inspired me to give back--I started a food drive in my office for our local food pantry and I deliver meals on wheels..all the driving I do I listen to this album (and, of course, all that PJ has to offer, but this starts most of my drives). I felt this album spoke volumes to the human spirit and it helped me find a way to help move that spirit, too....I hope you found the same peace.

  • Well my favorite song on the album is hard sun because its true in many ways.....
I was born at night but it wasn't lastnight
  • Society "catches" me the most. Captures too. The whole album is great! It's so easy to feel it.
The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

I love the album as much as I love PJ albums. Even more than some of the PJ albums.
ITW grows on me every time I listen to it. Society and guaranteed are those who cath me the most. Beautiful songs.

  • Beautiful, beautiful album.
It's hard to choose just one song, but "Guaranteed" is WONDERFUL.
  • i love the movie, and i think eddie did the best job possible to create music that fit, but the album itself creates the same state of mind as the movie does. its such a self recognizing album to listen to.
  • Society and No Ceiling are two of my most favorite songs...when I saw EV's solo shows, I cried at Society (I am so not that girl!) and thought it was worth the ticket to hear No Ceiling.

  • I've been listening to this a lot recently and it's wonderful. The only criticism I have of it is that many of the songs are far too short - I'm just really enjoying it and it stops! It's a completely gorgeous soundtrack though and goes perfectly with the mood of the film: very moving and intensely introspective.
  • Does anyone know where I can find GOOD tabs for this album? I can only find chords.. thanks!
