Is it realized.......

I would first like to introduce myself, for I am new to this place. My name is Amy, I wish all of you, the best and peace. If given only one chance to express my feelings about this group, I suppose it would be, to wonder, if they really know, if they realize, the impact they have. On the people they have touched with their music, their words, by putting themselves, their lives, out there for all of us to see, to feel and experience. For me, they are great givers. To open their hearts to all of us, welcome us to heal our own lives, in this world, to the words, the music and love from their hearts. I am grateful to each of them, I personally thank them, for seeing me through the worst of times and to celebrate them for sharing the best of times... So though I have little to offer in return, I can only thank them, from my heart. For being here, for caring, for playing for us what we longed to hear,,,play on boys, play on...........

So eloquently put, I don't know that I could have put it any better so I would like to just "second" your post. That was great and I have often wondered the same thing.

I third that. It may have taken me a ridiculous amount of time to find my way to this e-community, but the band has been with me for longer than any (other) band, obsession, friend, lover, or anything tangible or intangible that I've had in this world. To almost quote 'The Crow' - "Buildings burn, people die, but Pearl Jam is forever." Yeah, I believe that.
