Any else here go to this?  Still buzzing from how good it was.  For anyone on the fence that lives in proximity to one of their upcoming gigs, just go - you won't regret it.  Amazing show / amazing band.

I had good seats that I paid way too much for (they’re one of my bands that my wife actually enjoys), but we got jammed up when our plan to send our kids to my parents’ for the weekend got scotched by the snow storm.

I’ve wanted to see them for years but never connected. I will admit that I wasn’t too broken up about it since it looked like the tickets were only half sold even before the weather, and I usually find half-full shows at the Garden to be a real bummer. I couldn’t believe it when the tour was announced and they were headlining MSG - at first I figured it must be the theater, or maybe they were opening for someone. I believe last time they were around here was at Terminal 5 - that was an impossible ticket, but still the Garden is quite a leap from there.

However, everything I’ve heard since Saturday is that the show was great, with a good crowd and cool vibe. Bummed I missed it. It’s what I deserve for making fun of the “people won’t go to EV at the Beacon if it snows” crowd around here.

Oh man - total bummer and we almost missed out too as LIRR was shut so we had to drive in (which was an adventure) but got there safely. We were in GA (had a group of 12, 7 showed up, sold 3 tickets for $50 each and ate the rest.)  Ultimately, that disappointment all washed away when the band started and continued to get better and better with each song. The new stuff sound incredible and old classics like Ocean / Red Eyes / Pressure were absolutely killer.  The place went apoplectic when for the climax of UTP.  Seriously one of the best shows I've seen in a long time (including the 4 PJ shows in NJ/CA.)  Helps it was my first time seeing them I think - that "new band love" excitement and adrenaline way up.   Anyway, here's hoping the make it back to NYC area for their summer tour!

    Nope!

(I mean seriously: is that the summer tour schedule of a group that just headlined the dang Garden?)
