Help me find this song/story!

I am trying to track down this Eddie V. song/spoken piece that I heard in my ex-boyfriend's car a few weeks ago. We aren't exactly speaking anymore, so I can't ask him what it was.

It was Eddie speaking (not singing) with some guitar in the background, telling a really sad story about a woman who broke his heart. He was really depressed and I think there was some stuff about how he would never be the same or a part of him died or soemthing like that. I honestly don't remember it that well other than that. I don't remember if it was a live or studio recording.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It was so beautiful and I have to hear it again! Thanks

it's called "i'm still here." well, it might be untitled, since i don't think it was ever intended to be released, but that's the name you'll find it under.

"I'm still here"......Yeah, that's the one. Just found it on youtube and listened to it... Even better and sadder than I remembered it the first time. I guess it kind of takes on a new meaning this time around.

Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks for posting about this, I had never heard it before. I now have to somehow get on with my work without that haunting the back of my mind for the rest of the day. Utterly moving.
