it's an automatic reference to being in "hard mode", which means if you have a letter in yellow, you have to use that letter in every subsequent guess.

What you saw might be from an earlier post in this convo that @ mentions you and No. 1.

Yeah, I get that if I'm mentioned in a post that someone quotes as well. I'll get an alert that the original poster mentioned me and then alerts that everyone else who quoted the post mentioned me until the post dies.

I remember having fun with @Wobbie with this until one of his grand nieces or something showed him how to turn off his notifications. I would've had some fun with our other geriatrics, but I'm pretty sure they would've reported it to the mods.
