There were 3 other words it could have been too.. I very much could have taken the L.
Yeah this one has 6 words that can be done with the last 4 letters, so plenty of opportunity to fail, basically its just luck of the draw with which first letter you guess.

I counted 7?
You are correct, I missed one. Makes it even trickier.

SPOILER ALERT! The following little story below contains today's answer. If you have not done today's Wordle DO NOT READ ON!!!
Every morning, my wife and I compare Wordle results (I play a little after midnight, she plays in the morning. I lucked out today and got it in three. For the very first time, she did not win (pretty smart lady!) and hadn't experience what happens when you lose. She showed me her words: Audio, farce, latch, match, hatch, catch. After filling out the last line, up popped a message on her screen that said "watch". She kept waiting for whatever it was she was supposed to watch for. And then it hit her!

Ha. I’ve been curious what it shows when you lost. I found out today. This game sucks, close this thread!
Also, I think it’s a new feature, but you can do a spoiler icon that hides info until you click on it. Hit the “paragraph” icon or whatever it’s called, then click “spoiler.”
No soup for you!
