This is a pretty amazing song. I would love to hear it at a PJ concert in the future. Anybody else in love with it?
What the fuck is this world?

I think it is the best song on the soundtrack. I also love how it was used in the movie with the great Alaskan scenery. I just got back from Santa Cruz from CT and Eddie played almost everything from the CD but Long Nights. Luckily for me I love the entire album. :)

Totally agree. Best song for me on Into the wild.
  • Long Nights and Guaranteed are my favourites on the album... simply amazing :)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Long Nights is my favourite from ITW. Thought it was odd he didn't play it on his solo tour, hope its cos he's saving it for upcoming PJ tour (specifically NY please) :)

I love 'Long Nights' too, and 'Far Behind'. I love how the songs really fits in the movie, really magical.
