RIP.  If you don't really know who he is, read the Wiki page.  He was the first black actor to win an Academy Award among other things.  A truly great perfecter of his craft.

    Great actor.   They made us watch To Sir With Love in highschool in the 90s.  I loved it.

    RIP legend. My parents had the VHS of To Sir With Love. I remember a friend and I wanted to be rebellious and buy tickets for one movie and sneak into another. We snuck into 'Sneakers' and whilst we waited for some giant nudity/sex scene, I remember saying to myself privately, hey, that's the guy from that old movie Mom and Dad showed me when I was younger!
