POLL - The WEAKEST LINK of FEMALE FRONTED BANDS - ROUND 3

MedozKMedozK Posts: 9,209
Hope everyone is having fun with these WEAKEST LINK polls. With the new poll we will decide the best "Female Fronted Band". Now I decided to not include all girl bands like The Bangles or Go Go's, and wanted to stay away from bands with the singer's name in the band name like Blondie or Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

So with this one I came up with 10 for us to debate about and choose from.

Disclaimer: I know there are thousands of great bands with female leads, I could not include them all and I want to be the first to say I am sorry for not including your favorite. These are just the ones that came to my mind.

Remember you are going to pick the band that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 2 days I remove the two (2) bands with the most votes. We will then move on to Round 4.

Thanks again for playing, and Happy Holidays!

No Doubt
Evanescence - Eliminated Round 2

Garbage is great. They lose here for their biggest hit being a poke at the music coming out of Seattle

Since Metallica is willing to cover them , they deserve to go to the next round.

Only happy when it rains… about the depressing music everyone was going crazy for at the time. Seattle bands being the obvious culprit.  The sarcasm is what makes it great.

I think it was not meant to be serious. I don’t remember anyone being too bothered at the time.
The 90’s were filled with bands fighting with each other for any little slight.  Garbage got away with that one though. They were making fun of themselves too though

Tough choice between No Doubt & Cranberries. I think I should've voted the other way.

    Garbage kicks ass.

I honestly didn't know happy when it rains was about seattle; I thought it was a slight at herself for being a debbie downer.

When I first listened to that album and heard that song I knew it would be a hit single because it was the worst song on the album...

WTF are so many people voting for the Eurythmics?  Savages, the lot of you!

Not a bad thing!  A bit surprised to see Heart doing so well.

The Swedish King and Queen has tested positive for Corona.

I just wanted to share that with someone.

Also. The Cardigans should have been included in the poll.

I can think of several bands that should be in this poll, just like the others. That's one of the fun discussion points in my opinion.

The first three Heart albums in particular are amazing. The cover of Stairway to Heaven may be the greatest live cover of any song I have ever seen/heard.  They are my favourite band on the initial list.

I'll admit, I'm not really a big fan, but man, there is some extra special talent there, there is no doubt about that.
