Some great shows there. Saw a lot of the same shows, but definitely less 1998 for me. I do love looking back at old ticket stubs from time to time, and trying to remember a stand out moment from each show. I find it easier to do with PJ shows but where I can relive the boots, but increasingly tougher for non PJ shows with no boots.

We're show buddies for WPB II '98, Tampa '00, and Hartford '08! Would've done the OTOTO Kissimmee show in '04 with Death Cab, but Bruce, R.E.M. & John Fogerty were at the Orlando Arena the same night, and I had to make the call (had never seen any of them before, AMAZING show!)

Such a bummer they are phasing out tickets for concerts. I have all the stubs from every show/band I’ve seen but the last five years have been tough as some acts don’t make them available. One of my favorite souvenirs ever.

Agreed. I saved all of mine as well from all the way back to the 1980s. Lately, I have been making my own stubs using a ticket template i found online and then cutting it out and putting it in my ticket album. Not quite the same, but at least I have a tangible record of the show I can look at.

Great idea! Just used ticketforge.com to print a fake ticket as a gift to offset the mobile ticket. Turned out pretty decent, but considering the cost I doubt I’ll use them for more than a few events.
How about a highlight or two? Were you pitting it, crowd surfing? Miss that stuff.
Never crowd surfed.
Not a fan of the pit. At the start of the 1st Maui show we were pretty close. Had to bail 3 or 4 songs deep. Uncomfortable and couldn't focus on the music/band.
Bulletpoint highlights (no particular order)
- for the experience, drunk at only 1 show (1st Mansfield 08)
- Front row 3 times (2 legit, 1 paid bouncer $20)
- PJ 10
- PJ 20
- Robert Plant's music/vibe (HOB Chicago)
- Because of the process...'accidentally' getting access to tickets for my 1st show (Seattle 96)
- the setting for my last show, as of this moment (Telluride 16)
- I threw the shirt to Ed to request Satan's Bed (State College 03)
- Almost meeting Ed pre-show in the parking lot of my 1st local show (Blossom 98)
- seeing the last 15 shows of 03 (Columbus thru Holmdel)
Generally speaking - the music, the improvs, the requests, the guest players, the opportunity to visit different places, etc..
Thanks for the highlights. Love the 20 to a bouncer for front row! Was at telluride too. What a beautiful place. Dug unknown thought with that killer sunset. Also got squashed at a an early show and went to back. Nice to know others did too. At this point who knows if I'll go to see them again, but am sure glad i did. Thanks for sharing. Great stuff.

2022 should add to the total, hopefully.
